Boeing

My first entry (or should I say re-entry) into the field consisted of this work, Boeing. Note, if you will, the position of the plane against the left hand margin. A beginner's mistake. Putting it there caused many headaches for me when I made corrections.

Freddie

I can't help but shake the feeling that I created a cartoon character, a caricature, with this piece, more that a realistic bald eagle, which had been my original aim. Thus, I call this piece Freddie.

Dented Rubik's Cube

The next piece was nothing but an experiment, aimed at letting me get my feet wet. I was still new at this, and I let my fingers wanders. Dented Rubik's Cube was the result.

Watch

When looking for inspiration, you should start in your own backyard. In this case, I thought that I would start with my forearm, being that it and 'backyard' both have some letters in common. I had always intended to come back and add a hand to this one, but the more that I look at it, the more a hand would detract from it. (And I am still wearing that watch by the way.) Watch.
